The art of hypnosis has been used for centuries as a form of therapeutic benefit to help overcome a wide range of behavioural and emotional issues. Hypnosis is a natural method which allows the client to achieve a very relaxed and pleasant state of mind, enhancing one's awareness. During the process, the sub-conscious mind is more open to accept positive suggestion, enabling the client to achieve their desired behaviour modification. Intertwining hypnosis with an intervention - helps to uncover and thus remove the causes of deep rooted emotional problems which may be the main culprit of the unwanted behaviours. The use of Behaviour modification, NLP, Imagery Rescripting, Timeline and Exposure Therapy can all aid in the healing process.
Hypnosis is a natural state of mind which some might say is an altered state of consciousness. During the sessions you are not asleep and there is no form of mind control unlike that of stage hypnotism. You are fully aware of your surroundings and the whole process however in a deep and pleasant state of relaxation. Usually there is no verbal feedback from the client who is undergoing hypnosis during the hypnotic state, issues are tackled and discussed once the person is back in the conscious self after the hypnosis has taken place. One can stop the treatment at any point during the therapy.
To help understand how hypnosis works, if we explain the different roles of the conscious and sub-conscious mind - the conscious houses reason, logic, the ability to make decisions etc. having no emotional problems at this level. The sub-conscious houses memories, instincts, behavioural patterns and emotions. It is here were emotional problems are wired and often deep rooted. The emotion of the sub-conscious is much more powerful than the reason and logic of the conscious mind.
In hypnosis, the receptive frame of mind achieved creates a path to the sub-conscious thus allowing the therapy to work at a much deeper level. The sub-conscious part of the mind is more responsive to both direct suggestion and analysis. There is no magical wand that is waved and will heal all, a client’s willingness and positive attitude that change can happen is the greatest tool of all, only you have the power to change and create a balance in your lifestyle. However always remember that life does not have to be perfect to be wonderful but little steps over time will take you a long way.

Online learning has been around for many years and is used across most universities today.
The home programmes aim to help improve, both teaching and learning for not only the child but to educate the parent to empower them to continue therapy within the home.
